Utah decided to have there first late season Snow Goose hunt this year. This is the first white goose I have ever taken.
Hunting Snows is completely different than Canadian Goose hunting. This goose was shot at about 65 yards.

Chas'n Deer and Elk
A landowner in Cache Valley has decided to turn his property into a high fence elk shooting gallery. Due to disease issues the DWR has the responsibility to make sure all wild big game animals are off the property. With the help of the Utah Highway Patrol helicopter and a few of us on snowmobiles were were able to run approximately 120 deer and 60 elk out of the enclosure. This little buck was just to tired to go any further. I tied his legs up and let him ride with me for the last few miles.
